Paul was born in Newton and raised in Sparta. He was a former employee of Fredon Welding where he worked as a welder and truck driver for many years prior to his retirement in 1994. Paul loved hunting and fishing where he cherished the time spent among nature. He also had a true passion for stock car racing and could often be found in the pits or at his friends’ garages, lending a hand and working on their race cars.
Paul was predeceased by his parents, John and Kathryn (Lipko) Nemeth. He is survived by his son, Paul J. Nemeth and wife, Amylinn; his brother, John Nemeth; his sister, Rosemary Mulder; his three nieces, Jennifer Mulder, Kayla Martin and Nichole Fitchman; and his two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Memorial Visitation will be held from 10 am to 12 pm on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at the Smith-McCracken Funeral Home, 63 High St, Newton, NJ. Memorial Services will begin at 12 pm on Saturday at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, N. Church Rd, Hamburg, NJ.
