Samuel was born on October 7, 1945, and grew up in Netcong, NJ. He raised his beloved family in Crandon Lakes, where he was known as a friendly neighbor and a proud dad. Later in life, he moved to Shohola, Pennsylvania, before settling in Dingmans Ferry, where he spent his remaining years.
Samuel worked as a dedicated housekeeper at Newton Medical Center for 28 years, earning the respect of coworkers and patients alike for his reliability and kind heart. A lifelong fan of the New York Yankees and New York Giants, he enjoyed sharing his love of sports with friends and family. Samuel was also an avid lover of games shows like Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune. But it was the holiday season that truly lit up his spirit; he took great joy in decorating his home, turning it into a festive wonderland that brought smiles to all who passed by.
The beloved husband to Judith Reiman, Samuel is also survived by his children, Pete Reiman (Marie), Jerry Reiman (Mary) and Samuel Reiman, Jr; his grandchildren, Alex, Tyler, Patrick, Jamie, Caitlin and Brandon; his great-granddaughter, Noelle and his niece, Michelle Wiggins. He was predeceased by his brother-in-law, Albert Wiggins and his wife, Peggy.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5, 2025, from 2 pm – 4 pm and 6 pm – 8 pm at Smith-McCracken Funeral Home, 63 High Street, Newton, NJ. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, June 6, 2025, at 11 am.
