Terry L. Thomas

Terry was born on June 20, 1937 in Muncie, Indiana to the late Jonathan and Kessie (Eley) Thomas. Terry honorably served in the United States Air Force from 1957 to 1961, and later worked as a Middle Manager for AT&T for 34 years prior to his retirement in 1996.

Terry was happily married to the love of his life, Roberta (Coaker) Thomas, for 59 years before her passing in January of 2018. Together, Terry and Bobbie were avid campers and loved exploring near and far. After their retirement they spent winters in Florida, eventually settling in Newton in 2003 to be closer to their grandkids. Terry was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, and he will be dearly missed.

Terry is predeceased by his beloved wife, Roberta, and his son, Jonathan E. Thomas. He is survived by his daughters, Teri Peterson (Robert) and Elizabeth Dindl (Frank); brother, Larry Thomas; sister-in-law, Linda Carroll; brother-in-law, Don Coaker (BethAnn); brother-in-law, John Coaker (Goldie); 8 grandchildren, and dozens of loving nieces and nephews.
