Bill's life was marked by a deep love for people, led to a long and successful career in sales. Over the decades, his dedication and talent led him to the esteemed position of Executive Vice President of Sales at Offset Paperback Manufacturers in Dallas, PA.
While Bill was passionate about his work, it was his love for his family, friends, and especially children that was his greatest joy. Known for his warmth and generosity, Bill took pride in the simple pleasures of life: gathering with loved ones for a good party, singing songs, sharing jokes, and working with his hands. Whether he was fixing something around the house, tending to his yard, or making a cozy fire on a cold winter's day, Bill always brought a sense of care and skill to everything he did.
Bill had a love for surfcasting, spending countless hours on the beaches of Nantucket, where he found peace and contentment. His generous spirit and willingness to lend a hand made him a cherished figure in the lives of those who knew him. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness, love, and fond memories that will be treasured by his family, friends, and all who will miss him dearly.
Bill is survived by his beloved wife, Ellen Mickelsen; sister, Wendy Mickelsen; nephews, Scott Mickelsen, Jeffrey Phillips, Matthew Farber; niece, Ariane Phillips; grandniece, Alyssa Mickelsen Drake; and grandnephews, Brandon and Erik Mickelsen.
