Agostino Dinunzio

DINUNZIO, Agostino - Passed away peacefully, with his loving family at his side, at the Douglas Memorial Hospital on Sunday October 2, 2022 at the age of 77. Beloved husband of 50 years to Ann (nee Degrechie). Loving father of Michael (Andrea) Dinunzio, Lena (Lee) Bruce, Paul (Vicky) Dinunzio, Mary (Adrian) Venneri, and loving grandpa of 12; Alyssa, Julia, Nicolas Dinunzio, Aidan, Amanda, Andrew Bruce, Nathan, Lola Pedley, Gabriella Dinunzio, Xavier, Lincoln, Scarlett Venneri. He will be fondly remembered by his sisters Anna (the late Rosario) DiMascio, Assunta (the late Rocco) Simone, brother Camillo (Lucille) DiNunzio, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his parents Antonio DiNunzio and Santa (nee Casarelli), and 4 siblings. Agostino grew up in Roccomorice, Pescara, Italy, arriving in Canada at Pier 21, Halifax in 1960. He met his wife Ann and they were married in 1972. Agostino worked for CN Rail for 40 years until his retirement. He will be remembered as hardworking, generous and for being devoted to his family. Friends are invited to join the family at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. Niagara Falls, visiting Saturday from 10:30 am to 1 pm. A Funeral Service in celebration of his life will be held at 1 pm at the funeral home, with the Rite of Committal to follow at Fairview Cemetery.
