I remember being little and my grandpa having a huge drawer of candy just for me and it made me so happy to go and see all the candy to choose from.

Dear June and family, I was away and was so shocked when I heard of Al's passing. My heart-felt condolences go out to you and the rest of the family at this time.Al was such a pleasure for me to have in Flex-fit class. We will all miss him there.

Dear Linda,  June and family
Our deepest sympathies to you all on such a sad day. We have fond memories of Alan. We played together as children and I watched him grow up and get married. We are thinking of you all. Auntie Donna and Uncle Jerry in Calgary.

Our family would like to express our condolences, Alan was our neighbour. We always looked forward to that friendly wave and smile as we passed by. He also was kind enough to help us on a few occasions and are forever grateful for his kindness. Alan would fundraise for the Heart and Stroke Foundation, and we were always happy to have a little visit when he came by. I'd lost touch with Al.  We'd worked together.  So relieved that he retired early from GM to maximize his time with you all – his clear priorities.  How sad that he retired far too early from this life.  May God carry you thru.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

Dear June and Family, We drove to Myrtle Beach a week ago and unfortunately are unable to get home in time for Alan's service. We were so saddened when Joel called us today to let us know of Alan's passing.  Please know you are in our prayers at this difficult.  He will be so missed as a friend and neighbour.
