
Passed away at Chapel Heights, in Niagara Falls, on Monday, December 1, 2025, at the age of 102. Beloved husband for 61 years of the late Carmel (nee Parisi). Devoted father of the late Anthony Moccio (2011), Francis (Cathy; and her children Nicholas and Natasha) Moccio, Mark (Lynn) Moccio, and Matthew (Santina) Moccio. Cherished grandfather of Robert and Jennifer.
Born in Thorold, Ontario to Raffaelo and Pasqualina, Albert was the youngest of 7 children. He is predeceased by his siblings: Antoinette (Joseph) Luciani, Augustine (Thelma) Moccio, Michael (Marion) Moccio, Gene (Rose) Moccio, Angelo (Victoria) Moccio, and Nick (Joyce) Moccio. Survived by his in-laws: John (Virginia) Parisi, Frank (Diane) Parisi, Domenic (Sonia) Parisi, Jasmine Parisi, and Joan Parisi. Predeceased by his brothers-in-law Vito, Tony and Joe Parisi. Albert will be lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews.
A special thank you to his niece Mary Aird who provided exceptional companionship, care and support. Sincere appreciation to the nursing and care staff at Chapel Heights.
Albert attended Thorold High where he was an outstanding football player. He served with the Canadian Army, stationed in a number of places across Canada before marrying Carmel in 1954. Together they were founding members and devout parishioners of St. Thomas More Church in Niagara Falls.
Family and friends will be received on Friday, December 5, 2025 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Patterson Funeral Home, 6062 Main St. Niagara Falls. Vigil Prayers will be said at 3:45 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2025 at 10 a.m. at St. Thomas More Church, 6548 Dorchester Rd. Niagara Falls. Rite of Committal to follow at Fairview Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations made to St. Vincent de Paul Society would be appreciated by the family.
