Angelo Paladino

PALADINO, Angelo - It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Angelo Paladino on Monday June 30, 2025 at the Greater Niagara General Hospital surrounded by the love of his family. Born in Santa Croce Di Magliano, Italy in 1928, he was blessed to marry and come to Canada in 1953. He was married to his wife Livia (nee Fratoianni) for 68 years before she passed in 2021. He has four children Mary (John) Everrett, Pat Paladino, Tony (Teresa) Paladino and  Dino (the late Nina) Paladino. Loving nonno of Vanessa (Jim), Deana (Chandler), Laura (Thom), Anthony (Samantha), Michael (Taylor), Tanya, Falicia and devoted bisnonno of Owen, Logan, Sophia and Luca.  Angelo will be deeply missed by his siblings Vince (Dorena), Mario (Maria), Lucia (Angelo), Domenico (Anna) and Flavio (Helle) and dear Brother-in-law of Angela. Predeceased by his parents Pasquale and Maria (nee Rosati) Paladino and in-laws Pasquale and Rosalina Fratoianni, siblings Gennaro (Filomena), Antonio (Lucia), Teodoro (Lucia), Assunta (Luigi) and in-laws Maria, Elena ( Benito), Anita (Roberto) and Isodoro. He will also be missed by many cousins, nieces and nephews. Angelo was a proud and devoted family man who found immense joy in family  gatherings. He had a deep love for gardening, and he happily shared the fruits of his labor with family, friends, and neighbours, a true reflection of the kindness and generosity by which we will always remember him. A dedicated worker, Angelo served for over 30 years as a truck driver with the Niagara Parks Commission’s Roads Department, where his work ethic and commitment were deeply respected. He faced many adversities with quiet courage and unwavering determination, always putting his family first. He found pleasure in the simple things, a well-prepared meal, a sip of wine at the dinner table, and the warmth of togetherness. Angelo will be dearly missed, but never forgotten.  Friends are invited to join the family at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. Niagara Falls, visiting Sunday July 6, 2025 from 2 pm to 5 pm. Vigil prayer will be held at the funeral home at 4:30 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday July 7, 2025 at 10:30 am at Our Lady of the Scapular Church with the Rite of Entombment to follow at Fairview Mausoleum  In memory of Angelo, memorial contributions may be made to Project Share or Heart Niagara and would be appreciated.
