Anna 'Anita' MacKenzie

MacKenzie, Anna Anita - Passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family on Saturday August 20, 2016 at the age of 81. Predeceased by her husband Thomas MacKenzie (2015), sister Rhodena Pearson and a brother and sister in infancy. Cherished mother of Ian (Colleen) MacKenzie and Bruce (Paulette) MacKenzie and loving grandmother of Nicole MacKenzie and Natasha (Alessandro) Marone. She will be sadly missed by her sisters Brenda (Dave) Linton and Rhodena (Terry) MacKinnon and brothers Dennis (Joan) Pearson, Austin Pearson and Ronald (Dolores) Pearson and her sisters-in-law Beverly Melnyk and Celia MacLean. She will also be sadly missed by nieces, nephews and friends, especially Carmella. A very special thank you to the PSW's and nursing staff that took care of Anita. Anita worked at Oneida Canada and then she worked as a merchandising manger for the Niagara Parks Commission until her retirement.Cremation has taken place. Friends are invited to call at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. visiting Saturday 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. As Thomas and Anita are now reunited the family wishes to celebrate their lives together with a Funeral Service at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
