After living a full life of 96 years, her family wishes to announce the passing of their Mother and Nana on Monday, August 8, 2016. Loving Wife of 66 years to the late Mungo McAllister (2011). Devoted Mother of Lynn & Trevor Climenhage, and Janis Lilley. Caring Nana of Lorna & Tim Hilborn, Ian & Sue Climenhage, Beth & Mark Wilson, Craig & Pam Lilley, Christine & Stephan Roy. Proud Great-Nana of Katelynn, Emily, Ben, Luke, Leah, Andy, Nathan, Alex, Abby, Maddy, Abbott, & Ella.
Annie was born in Glasgow, Scotland, came to Canada in 1954 and was a long-time employee of the Greater Niagara General Hospital.
A special thank you to her friends and the staff at Lundy Manor. She will be sadly missed.
In accordance with her wishes, cremation will take place. Family and friends will be received at Hetherington & Deans Funeral Chapel, 5176 Victoria Avenue on Tuesday, August 23, 2016 from 11 AM – 12 Noon. A celebration of her life will be held in the chapel at 12 Noon. Interment to follow in Lundy’s Lane Cemetery.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Rankin Cancer Run or charity of one’s choice would be appreciated.
