VALEO, Antonio - Passed away suddenly at the Greater Niagara General Hospital on Sunday May 23, 2021 at the age of 72. Beloved husband of Ida Valeo (nee Facciolo) and cherished father of Salvatore 'Sam' (Daiana) Valeo and Roberto 'Rob' Valeo. Loving Nonno of Isabella, Antonio Luigi and Sofia. He will be fondly remembered by his sisters Concetta (Antonio), Maria (Antonio), brother-in-law Pasquale (Titina), sisters-in-law Lina, Elia (Dario), as well as many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brother Pasquale and brother-in-law Marco. Antonio will be forever remembered as an unselfish, caring and gentle soul who loved to help others. His greatest passion was spending time with his family - especially his grandchildren - and loved making wine. He was a hardworking man, having worked for over 37 years at Modern Mosaic. Respecting the government restrictions of COVID-19, including the requirement of pre-booked appointments (by calling 905-358-3513 between 9 am and 5 pm), friends are invited to call at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. Niagara Falls visiting Wednesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A private Funeral Service will take place at the funeral home on Thursday, followed by the Rite of Committal at Fairview Mausoleum. In memory of Mr. Valeo, memorial contributions may be made to The McMaster Children's Hospital, and would be appreciated.
