Bev Biggar

Bev passed away peacefully at Cavendish Manor on October 20, 2022 at the age of 79. She will be missed by her sister Marilynn Van Zant (Roger Burley), her nieces and nephews; Leslie, Mark, Eric, and Erin, her cousins; Colleen, Tracey, Jeff, Greg, and Sherry, her dear friends; Mary, Suzanne, and Jo-Ann, and Angie, her helpful and caring neighbours; Mary, Elaine, and as well as Legion and card friends. Bev is predeceased by her parents Vera and Hue Biggar, her aunt and close friend Norma O'Neil, her aunt Elsie, her long-time companion Jeff Burke, and several friends and family members.

Bev spent many years volunteering for Branch 51 of the Royal Canadian Legion and the Ladies Auxiliary. She loved playing cards and remained an avid player throughout her life.

Bev will be resting at Hetherington & Deans Funeral Chapel, 5176 Victoria Ave. (905-354-5614). Family and friends will be received on Thursday, October 27, 2022 from 10 am - 1 pm followed by a funeral service at 1 pm. Committal to follow at Fairview Cemetery.
