CAIN, William 'Bill' Leo - On Saturday June 29, 2024, in his 98th year, William passed on to be reunited with his loving late wife, Audrey (nee Heximer, 2021). Leaving behind his grieving children Deborah (Robert) Steele, Donna (Peter) Mayhew-Coons, William (Linda) Cain, Patricia (the late Ken, 2022) Cain-McQuiggan, Laura (Chris) Shand, his beautiful grandchildren the late Joseph (2022) (Dee) Mayhew, Andrew Mayhew, the late Shawn (2021) Mayhew, William (Angela) Cain III, Jennifer (Mark) Nelson, Melissa (David) Graham and Sarah (Mootaz) Chaari. He also leaves behind 7 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren. One of ten children of Andrew and Charlotte (nee Mills) Cain with one remaining sister, Rita Cain. Survived by his sister-in-law Eva (the late Jim) Elliott, as well as many nieces, nephews and great friends from over the years. Bill worked for the Niagara Ford Glass Plant till his retirement. Bill and Audrey spent many an enjoyable years travelling as far and wide as they could, then finally settling and purchasing a trailer and seasonally camping - enjoying their golden years by a campfire and glass of wine in hand. You would always find Dad reading and Mom doing her plastic craft. Our parents were longtime members of St Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Niagara Falls. The family would also like to say a very special thank you to the staff at Valley Park Lodge for their care of our Mom and Dad. Especially the staff who made Dad's last years so much easier to live without Mom; PSW's Alicia 'Caroline', Stephen and nurse Kelly. Friends are invited to join the family at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. Niagara Falls, visiting Thursday July 4, 2024 from 6 to 8 pm and Friday July 5, 2024 from 11 am to 1 pm. A Funeral Service in celebration of his life will be held Friday at 1 pm at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
