Carrie Benner

BENNER, Carrie - Passed away, surrounded by her family, at the Greater Niagara General Hospital on April 4, 2019 at the age of 51. Predeceased by her husband David (2013) and her daughter Katie (1999). Loving mother of Nicholas and Jessica (Michael) Folino. Dearest daughter of the late Richard (2016) and Gloria Cardwell. Cherished sister of Carlee (Chad) Alderson. Loving aunt of Katelyn, Kiera, Blythe, Bethany and Marie-Claire. Cherished partner of Audie Soulsby. Children were an incredibly important part of Carrie's life, especially spending time with Katie, Stella, Jacob, Lily and many of Nick's lifelong friends. Carrie will be deeply missed by her friends and members of the Rosianna, Cardwell, Benner, and Soulsby families. Carrie leaves behind her four-legged best friend and companion Brutus. Carrie graduated with a degree from Brock University and worked for the DSBN as a Youth Counsellor. For over two decades, she helped  countless students who she affectionately referred to as 'her kids'. Friends are invited to call at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. Niagara Falls, visiting Wednesday April 10, 2019 from 1 to 4 pm with a memorial service to follow at the funeral home.
