TANNER, David - Passed away peacefully at the Greater Niagara General Hospital on Thursday March 10, 2022 at the age of 81. Predeceased by his parents John and Mary (nee Baird), sister Norma, brothers Jack and James (Jim). He will be fondly remembered by his sisters-in-law Elizabeth, Marie, his niece Janice and nephews David (Cathy), Jamie (Kathy), Ian (Kristine), and James (Michelle). David was a lifetime educator in Niagara who had a lasting impact on generations of students over a 30 year career. He had a great fondness for all animals and always enjoyed laughs over a glass of good wine. His sharp wit, compassion and empathy for others will be dearly missed by everyone who knew him. Cremation has taken place. A private interment will take place at Lundy's Lane Cemetery, where he will be reunited with his parents and sister. Online condolences at pattersonfuneralhome.com
