On Nov.27, 2012 with heavy hearts we share our beloved husband, father and grandfather’s final journey. Wayne was a very proud, generous and gentle soul full of determination, courage and strength. Our family will follow along life’s path knowing he taught us well. He leaves behind his loving wife, Bonnie, 3 wonderful and supportive sons and daughters-in-law, Tom (Maria), Don (Emily) and Bill (Tanya) and 4 beautiful grandchildren Taylor, Will, Ethan and Cameron along with his special little companion Riley. He is also survived by 4 brothers and 3 sisters and their families. Wayne thoroughly enjoyed his time spent with his “Hockey Family” and you all know who you are. He wanted everyone to remember the laughter and the good times with him. That is why we have respected his very personal wishes and kept his final arrangements private. He truly believed all who knew him well would understand. Donations to St. Catharines Palliative Care can be made through HETHERINGTON AND DEANS FUNERAL CHAPEL, and would be appreciated by the family.
