Dorothy 'Dot' Atkinson

ATKINSON, Dorothy 'Dot' (nee Robson) - It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of our dear beloved Dorothy 'Dot'. Predeceased by her cherished late husband Gerald 'Ged' of 35 years. Loving and devoted Mum of Matthew, her pride and joy, her greatest accomplishment. She is survived by her sisters-in-law, Charmaine Robson and Jean (Robert) Shaw, as well as many of her nieces and nephews. She will be lovingly missed by her niece Janet, great-nephew Jason, great-niece Lee Ann, great-great-niece Kalea and great-great-nephew Kaleb. Dot will be sadly missed by her dear friends Manon (Carl) Mercier and their son Adrien, who affectionately knew her as Grandma Dot. Predeceased by her parents Thomas and Frances Robson and brother Alan Robson. Dot was a great volunteer, giving of  her time for the Daffodil Cancer Campaign and being part of the holiday gift wrapping program, She was a huge lover of animals and was a big part of the lawn bowling Community and will be forever missed by her lawn bowling family. Cremation has taken place. Friends are invited to join the family at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. Niagara Falls, visiting Saturday February 3, 2024 from 1 to 4 pm..In memory of Dot memorial contributions may be made to The Breast Cancer Society and would be appreciated.
