With deepest sorrow and a broken heart, I announce the passing of my beloved brother, Douglas, at home, with me by his side. Survived by his sister, Donna (the late John) Gibson, and his nephew, Doug Fusek. He was the beloved son of the late Doug & Lil Cornall.
In his two years living with me back in Niagara, he has made many friends. Thank you to Brian & Lorna, Diane, Fraser & Jessica, who were always there for us. Thank you to St. Elizabeth and the nurses; Rafael, Theresa & Barbara, the night nurse from Para Med; Chono-Arlene, and the Home Community Care Support Service PSW's; Sue & Joe. They took great care of him so he could comfortably stay at home.
Time for me to go now, I will not say good-bye. Look for me in rainbows way up in the sky. It will not be forever, the day will come when my arms will hold you when we meet again. Time for us to part now, we will not say good-bye. Just wish me to be near you and I'll be there with you.
In keeping with Douglas's wishes, cremation has taken place. A graveside service will take place later in the summer.
