Peacefully gone to be with the Lord, her husband Vic and son Bill on Wednesday March 11, 2010, from the St. Catharines General Hospital. Edith J. Shaw, in her 89th year, devoted mother of Fred (Penny) of Port Robinson, Gloria Stewart (Ron) and Janet Travers (Charles). Fondly remembered by seven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 1-2 p.m. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at 2 p.m. Inurnment will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Those who wish may make a memorial donation to either; Kidney Foundation, Heart & Stroke Foundation or to Canadian Diabetes Association.
