Edna passed away peacefully on Sept. 30, 2021 at the age of 105 at North Pointe Retirement Home, predeceased by her husband Leonard and her sons, Neil and Harold Cousineau. Sadly missed by her daughters-in-law Audrey and Sue Cousineau, and beloved grandmother to Candy, Melody, Neil, (the late Brenda), Juliette, Alan, Kim, April, Peggy and Steven. She is also missed by her sister Doris (the late Wally) Cosby, many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Edna and Leonard enjoyed spending their summers in Buckhorn at their cottage with family. Edna had a career at Bright’s Winery and was their first woman supervisor.
In keeping with Edna’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of Edna’s life will be held at HETHERINGTON AND DEANS FUNERAL CHAPEL, 5176 Victoria Ave. Niagara Falls, on Friday October 8th at 1:00pm.
In keeping with COVID regulations, everyone entering the building must be wearing a face mask and maintain physical distance. Donations in memory of Edna can be made to a charity of your choice.
