

ALLEN, Elizabeth - Passed away peacefully at the Greater Niagara General Hospital on Thursday May 30 2024 at the age of 95. Beloved wife of the late Leonard 'Len; (1983), cherished mother of Peter (Jackie Stevenson) Allen, Michael Allen and Robert (Jonavie Rivera-Allen) . Loving grandmother of Benita, Max, Liam Allen, Chienna Lua and great grandmother of Luna. Elisabeth will be dearly remembered by her family and many friends around the world. Elisabeth was born in Aarau Switzerland and had a wonderful childhood with her sister Margrit and raised by their loving parents Max and Marie. Elisabeth met her husband Len on the mountain slopes of Switzerland where they feel in love instantly. Mom and Dad were very adventurous as they discovered a new life together. After their marriage they travelled to Montreal, Canada, where Peter was born. Later they travelled to the jungles of South America, where Michael and Robert were born. After South America we all moved to British Columbia for many years. The journey continued as Mom and Dad moved to Ghana, West Africa. After several years and many amazing memories they moved back to Canada (Niagara Falls) where they both lived until they passed, with their sons close by their side. Elisabeth had a wealth of talents, she taught Tai chi for many years, created masterpieces when she became a painter and a potter. She had so many talents to that she shared with the world .Mom was a very special and unique woman that dedicated her life to her family and friends. She was very caring and compassionate, her gentle demeanor, her wisdom and lovely smile will always be with us. Mom you will be in our hearts and prayers forever. Cremation has taken place.
