Elizabeth Kanola Hopkins

Passed away peacefully September 21, 2016 at the age of 81. Loving wife for 62 years to Glen. Devoted mom to Sandra (Hopeton), Edwin (deceased 1973), Ardes (Mark) and Raegan (Brook). Cherished grandmother of Trevor (Chantelle), Karleigh (Rob), Alivia, Alix, Syreeta, Gabby, and Hailey. Great-grandma to Mya and Darius. She will be lovingly remembered by her sister Marty (Arnold) and many nieces and nephews. She was the glue. Jack Sparrow!

Her family would like to acknowledge the wonderful staff of Willoughby Manor; her doctors: D. Girard (Lorenza and Laurel) and E. Minkarious; and a special neighbor, Carolyn for all their loving care and support during these last few, difficult years of her life.

Cremation has taken place and a graveside ceremony and interment will be held at a later date. A celebration of Liz's life will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at The Optimist Hall, 7085 Morrison St. from 1-3.
