Mewett, Elsie Margery (nee North) –
With great sadness, we announce that Elsie passed away peacefully at Greater Niagara General Hospital on Saturday, December 20th. Predeceased by her husband of 64 years, Charles, earlier this year. Also predeceased by her brothers Don and Gerald, she is survived by her children Bonnie (Peter) and Chuck, as well as her brother Douglas.
Elsie worked at Bell Canada before raising a family and was a devoted member of the Church of Christ for many years. Family was very important to her and always enjoyed summer and holiday gatherings.
A private graveside family gathering will be held at Fairview Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice Niagara.
