George Ballinger

BALLINGER, George - Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving wife, daughters and many family members, at the St. Catharines General Hospital on Tuesday March 7, 2017 at the age of 84.  Beloved husband of Marge for 62 years.  Cherished father of Karen (Arnon) Rosenfeld and Kathy (David) McKinty.  Loving grandfather of Kristopher Ballinger, Kari Trimble, and Ryan and Lauren McKinty.  Dearly loved great-grandfather of Jack and Caleb.  Dear brother of Kay (Tom) MacDonald, Fran (Edward) McLenahan and Eric (Henriette) Ballinger. Predeceased by his sisters Sheila Collins and Eileen Cox, his sister-in-law Josephine Carlo and his brother-in-law Jim Lazzaro.   He will be sadly missed by several cousins, nieces and nephews.  Cremation has taken place.  A private memorial service and inurnment will take place at a later date.  Arrangements entrusted to PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St.  Online condolences at www.pattersonfuneralhome.com
