BIANCO, Giacomo 'Jack' - The family of Giacomo 'Jack' Bianco are heartbroken to share the news that their sweet husband, father and Nonno passed away peacefully at the Greater Niagara General Hospital on Monday January 10, 2022 at the age of 92. He was the beloved husband of Lucia Bianco (nee Ioannoni) for 54 years. The most caring father to Paola (Bob) Lawrence, Vince (Diana)Bianco and Gabriella (Mark) Griffiths. Adoring Nonno to Michelle (Nick) and Elissa Lawrence, Matteo Giacomo and Isabella Bianco and Bianca and Ellanore Griffiths. His family will miss him terribly. He will also be sadly missed by his sister Giovanna Mele and brothers-in-law Vince (Anna) Ioannoni and Quintino DiGiosia. Also left to mourn are many nieces and nephews in Canada, Italy and Belgium. Predeceased by siblings Antonietta (the late Giuseppe) Sposato, Giuseppe (the late Gemma) Bianco, Francesco Bianco, Francesco Bianco and siblings-in-law Angelo Mele, Maria (the late Alessandro) Pelusi, Ilda (the late Aldo) Scarpone, Elda DiGiosia, Elvira (the late Fernando) DiBattista, Elena (the late Angelo) Buono, Italia (the late Carlo) Palucci and Angelo Mele. Giacomo was born in Bianchi, Cosenza, Italy to parents Vincenzo and Michelina (nee Costanzo). Giacomo immigrated to Canada in 1961 where he soon met his future wife Lucia while working at 1-Hour Dry Cleaning. A tailor by trade he then started his own business Jack Bianco Custom Tailoring in 1964 at the corner of Bridge St. and Victoria Ave. in Niagara Falls until he retired in 1999 to be a full time Nonno. He loved this new job as Nonno and took every opportunity to be with his grandchildren. He loved his family more than anything and looked forward to having his family together as much as possible. His family in Italy told his future wife at the time that 'Giacomo may be a small man in stature but he had the biggest heart.' No truer words have been spoken. He would do anything for his family, always putting their needs ahead of his own. A true family man. Our hearts are breaking and will love him for always and forever.
