Isabell passed quietly and peacefully into heaven in her 98th year. There to greet her are beloved husband Harry (2001), son Norman (2002), and son Wayne who recently passed away May 5, 2021. Also predeceased by her much loved son-in-law Walter Oprzedek, daughter-in-law Karen Eckhart, and sister Nina. She will be greatly missed by her devoted daughter Maureen Oprzedek and her grandchildren who she loved dearly: Susan Kutvonen (Mark), Wally Oprzedek (Carolyn), Kim Rupcic (Mark), Tricia McCann (Kevin), Phaedra Eckhart and Adam Eckhart (Brynley) and great grandchildren Jocelyn and Sophie Oprzedek, Emma, Jack and Sarah Rupcic and Kieran and Kate McCann, Kennedy and Alex Roland and Kallye Eckhart. Mom always had a big smile when they came to visit her. Also lovingly remembered by her “special daughters” Eleanor Snider and Christine Keown who were very loyal friends over the years. A special thank you to all of Isabell’s caregivers at Henley House for their care and compassion. Mom recovered from her bout with Covid-19 in 2020 and survived to see another year. I’m sure she is singing with a choir of angels now. Rest in Peace, until we can hug again. If so desired, donations to Stamford Presbyterian Church or Start Me Up Niagara would be appreciated.
