James 'Jim' Sparkman

SPARKMAN, James 'Jim' - Passed away peacefully on Saturday November 30, 2019 at the Linhaven Nursing Home in St. Catharines at the age of 77. Beloved husband of the late Patricia Sparkman (2007). Dearly loved father of Greg Sparkman (Barb) and Corey (Laura) Sparkman. Cherished grandfather of Liam and Emma. Dear brother of Dennis (Ljudmilla) Sparkman and Stevie (Marcia) Sparkman. Predeceased by his parents Roland and Lena Sparkman and his brother Rolly Sparkman (2015). Lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Jim worked in Quality Control with General Motors for over 30 years. He was an avid hunter and outdoorsman, and a lifelong hockey player and golfer. He was also a dedicated member of the Masonic Lodge and the Shriners Temple. A special thank you to the staff at Rapelje Lodge and T. Roy Adams Centre for their care and compassion. Cremation has taken place. Friends and family are invited to call at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. Niagara Falls, visiting Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Interment will take place Friday at 1:15 pm at Lundy's Lane Cemetery (please assemble at the Lundy's Lane gate).
