Dear Kathryn, Bruce, Lenora, Maureen and your families, I am so sorry for the great loss you are feeling after your mother's passing. I have so many wonderful memories of the times spent with your family, especially when I was young. I remember Aunt Janet inviting Ruth and I to spend a week in Niagara Falls when we were little girls. We were so proud to push baby Kathryn around in her stroller and it made us feel very grown up! When I was a young mother, and I also had 3 girls and 1 boy, Aunt Janet passed along some of your special outfits to our family. I especially remember 3 beautiful red velvet dresses that our girls were very happy to wear at Christmas time. She also made 3 soft and cuddly prairie dolls with embroidered faces for our little girls that have now been passed along to a new generation for her great great nieces to enjoy. I will especially miss hearing Aunt Janet's wonderul laugh with that deep resonant chuckle that warmed your whole heart just to hear it. Please know that our love and our prayers are with you all and we are very blessed to have been born into such a wonderful family. xoxo

Very sorry to read of your Mother's passing.  Your Mother was a wonderful person and was a good friend of my family.  I have many happy memories of her and all of you.  Sincere condolescenes to all of the family.

We are so sorry to hear of Janet's passing. We so enjoyed her bright spirit at St. Thomas More cards with Don each Monday, back in the day. My childhood pal Lenora would have me over to their wonderful house on Dorchester. Whenever Don and I walk past it, we still point it out and say that's the Farrell's home. Wishing you peace and comfort during this difficult time.

I am very saddened, learning of Janet's death.  Quite frankly, since the outbreak of the virus, keeping so many away from church, and my own move to a different parish, I was unaware of the decline of her health and so this news comes as a great shock.  I look back on times spent with Janet and Bill in the life of St. Thomas More Parish, how active they both were and how faith-filled, too.  Even after Bill's death in 2015, Janet carried on with her devotion to the Mass and I always enjoyed greeting her at the church doors -- that is, until so many were sidelined because of the pandemic.  Know of my continuing prayers for Janet as well as for Bill, and I will be thinking of all of you, their family, as you bid farewell in the coming days.  (Fr.)
