Passed away on March 6th, 2017 after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 83. Predeceased by her husband Robert (2014), her daughters Joanne & Alison, her parents Grant & Vera Donald (nee Morrison) & her sister Eleanor (Traven) Reed. Sadly missed by her sister Shirley (the late William) Martin. Beloved grandmother to Bob (Mandy) Fenton & Roger (Amanda) Paquette. Joan was a legal secretary for over 25 years at McBurney & Durdan. The family will receive visitors at HETHERINGTON AND DEANS FUNERAL CHAPEL, 5176 Victoria Avenue, Niagara Falls on Friday March 10th, 2017 from 2-4 and7-9pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday March 11th at 11:00am with Interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery. Donations to the Dunnville Hospital and Healthcare Foundation would be appreciated.
