I am truly sorry for the loss of your beloved husband. Extending to you and your family my deepest symphaty. No human word can ease the pain you are suffering now and we join you in prayer for strength and comfort during this sad time.  Jack was a very loving father. He was a person of awesome moral character, kind generous, friendly having many contacts in their hamn radio association. We have wonderful memories of him in our fishing and boating activities. Rest in peace Uncle. I have so many fond memories of Uncle. He was the first non Filipino to enter our family clan. He was so playful with us as younger kids. Always joking, playing card games (our favorite with him was spoons). We enjoyed our visits on his boats or playing in his camper, or listening to him on his ham radio. He taught us how to make buffalo chicken wings (which I still use his recipe) and I remember him taking us to get French fries with malt vinegar for the first time, which I fondly associate with him when I have it now. As we grew older, he extended his love to our growing families (husband and children) and we enjoyed with him fine dining and drinks. He was one of a kind and we will miss you our Canadian Uncle, ay! Blessings to you Auntie, my cousins, and their families and we pray for comfort during this sad time. With love, Joy Soriano Thompson and family. 

We are so saddened by the loss of Uncle Jack.  He was such a great uncle.  I have many wonderful memories of him especially during my younger years.  He was always full of fun and laughter.  During the last couple of years, he always took the time to say hello and chat for a little while via video chat even during the middle of his favorite sports.  We are so glad that we got to see him last year when we visited the family in Canada.  Rest in peace Uncle Jack.  To Auntie Linda, John, Cheryl and family, may all the fond memories of him keep him alive forever.  Prayers to all of you for comfort and peace during this time of sadness.

Sharing these to Uncle John’s family: 
When someone has gone, you can bring them back for just a little while by talking them into life,  by painting a picture with your memories , and your words breathing their essence back into existence for just a few moments.

When someone has gone you can see them again for a minute or two
by being all the things they once were by allowing their best traits to filter through you,  shaping your words,
your thoughts, and your deeds back out into this world.

When someone has gone you can feel them again for just a moment,  playing their music and singing their favourite songs, giving yourself up to the notes that brought them alive once upon a time. It will again.

When someone has gone, you can keep a part of them by giving the love you had for a forever place in your life,  a forever seat at your table,  and a glorious chapter in your book. 

Let us continue to talk about Uncle John.

I have many fond memories with John who got me started in Ham radio and encouraged me to obtain my license.
Also, he employed me back then when he started Texpro Sales which I will always be thankful for.
Kerry and I enjoyed the few get togethers we had with John and Linda when they were still living in Burlington and later when they moved to Port Dover including a memorable trip on John's boat.
Wishing Linda, JR, Cheryl and the rest of the family our condolences and for them to remember John with many fond memories

When I visited your home on June 27th this year, I shook your Father's hand, and saw a wonderful twinkle in his eyes. He had a beautiful aura surrounding him. It was an honour to meet him.
He is in a place of Peace, Love and Light now, after having a Life well-lived, and loved by many.
