Jose Babiera Heraldo

HERALDO, Jose - Passed away at the Greater Niagara General Hospital surrounded by the love of his family on Monday, March 17, 2025 at the age of 82. Devoted husband of 54 years to Myrna (nee Paua). Loving father of Joseph (Brenda) Heraldo and Jennifer (Chris) Routliffe. Cherished grandfather of Jaiden (Val), Cameron (Megan), Madison, Ashlynn, Liam and Aidan. Jose is survived by his sisters Dolores (the late Alejo) Mosquite, Mila (Arme) Aramburo, Myrna (Howie) Wing and Linda (Lars) Gacad. He will be lovingly remembered by many in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Predeceased by his parents Atilano and Regina (nee Babiera) Heraldo, sister Natividad (Ben) Condino and Wilfredo (Teresita) Heraldo. Jose enjoyed watching football, golf, tennis and could let you know all the stats. He also loved listening to music from the Crooners such as Frank Sinatra and Matt Monro. However, his favourite love of his life was his wife Myrna, who he spoiled with whatever her heart desired. He was a wonderful and devoted husband. The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the nurses and staff at GNGH for their outstanding care that they gave to Jose.  Friends are invited to join the family at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St., Niagara Falls, visiting Thursday, March 20, 2025 from 2 to 4 pm and from 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service in celebration of his life will be held at 10 am Friday, March 21, 2025 at the funeral home. Cremation will follow.
