Joseph Menna

Went home to be with the Lord in his 87th year, reuniting with his loving wife Rosaria.

Loving father of Rosanne (Kevin), Gus (Laura), Lydia (Patrick) and Joseph (Gilma).

Proud Nonno to Matthew, Alexander and Adriana Menna.

Dear brother of Anna Ventura and Yolanda (Joe) Bologna. Predeceased by his parents Agostino and Lidia Menna and his siblings Concetta Palumbo, Antoinette D’Amario, Angiolina Tanzi, Rocco Menna, Antonio Menna and Albert Menna.

Born in Roccamorice, Italy, Joseph came to Niagara Falls in 1951 with his family. He later moved to Toronto where he met the love of his life, Rosaria Cafarelli. Joseph worked as a welder and eventually at General Motors in St. Catharines for many years. A man of many interests and talents, Joseph enjoyed playing the accordion, gardening, painting and sports. For those who loved him, he was known for his resilience, kindness, steady encouragement, humour, deep wisdom, thoughtful advice and boundless support of his family. He loved nothing more than to be surrounded by his family.

Joseph passed with dignity surrounded by his loving children. Joseph’s family would like to thank nurse Josh in the I.C.U at GNGH and Chaplain Marcie for their support and comfort of him and his family.

The family will receive relatives and friends at Patterson Funeral Home, 6062 Main Street, Niagara Falls on Monday, April 20 from 2 - 4 p.m. and 6 - 8 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated for Joseph at Our Lady of the Scapular Church, 6557 Thorold Stone Road, Niagara Falls on Tuesday April 21, 2026 at 10 a.m. Rite of committal will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
