WINTER, Madeleine (nee Boulanger) - Passed away peacefully at Bella Senior Care Residence on Tuesday March 26, 2024, at the age of 96. Beloved wife of the late Patrick (2013) and cherished mother of Richard (Laurie) Winter, Gayle Fisher (Chris Boyd), Michael Winter and Ray (Margaret) Winter. Loving grandmother of Shalane (Dave) Moberg, Michelle Winter, Candice Fisher (Dan Keith), Kyle Fisher and Amanda (Chris) Winter-Owen. Devoted and loving Gigi of Elliott, Finn, Maddie, Waverly and Remy. Madeleine was the sweetest, kindness and most adorable person that one could every meet. She was talented at all different types of arts and crafts especially at making quilts. She was deeply loved by her family and was loved by many people. She had a quick wit, enjoyed making people laugh and had a lovely positive attitude. Our heartfelt thanks goes out to the entire staff of Bella Senior Care for their loving and compassionate care given to our dear mother, grandmother and Gigi over the past 16 years. Madeleine cherished the staff of Bella as if they were her own family. It was incredibly touching to see how wonderful our mother left her home at Bella with the beautiful honour guard, it was emotional and so much appreciated. Cremation has taken place. Friends are invited to join the family at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. Niagara Falls, visiting Friday April 5, 2024 from 10 to 11 am. A Funeral Service in celebration of her life will be held at 11 am at the funeral home, with the Rite of Committal to follow at Fairview Cemetery.
