Maria Basilone

November 27, 1948 – December 7, 2025

Maria Donata Basilone passed away peacefully, held in the love of her family, on December 7, 2025, at Walker House Hospice. Born on November 27, 1948, in Molinara, Benevento, Italy, she was predeceased by her loving parents Rocco and Grazia Addabbo; her in-laws Salvatore and Donatella Basilone; her siblings Antonio, Donato, Anna, and Alberto (Grazia) Addabbo; and her in-laws Teofelo and Giovanina Mascia, Giorgio and Damiana Zeolla.

Beloved wife of 53 years to Francesco, cherished mother to Salvatore (Amanda) and Tony (Marilena), and treasured Nonna to Frank, Elle, and Gio Basilone.

Maria is also survived by her brothers Carmine (Grazia) Addabbo and Giuseppe Addabbo, and is affectionately remembered by many nieces and nephews.

Maria will be lovingly remembered for her gentle nature, sense of humor, quick wit, and unwavering commitment to her family. Her warmth and love will be felt forever by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Maria’s family will receive friends and family at the Patterson Funeral Home, Niagara Falls, on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, from 2:00–4:00 pm and 7:00–9:00 pm. A service to celebrate her life will be held on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at 1:00 pm at the Patterson Funeral Home Chapel.
