LETOURNEAU, Marie Berthe Fernande Mignonne 'Fern' - Today we celebrate the life of a well-loved woman. Born February 10, 1923 in La Reine, Quebec, Fern passed away peacefully on Sunday May 22, 2016 at the age of 93. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Letourneau (1991). Dearly loved mother of Claudette Stewart (Dave), Lorraine Gorn (Edward), Robert Letourneau (Evelyn), Denis Letourneau (Jane) and Richard Letourneau. She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren Greg and Cheryl Stewart, Ryan and Lindsay Stewart, Kristen and Michael Allen, Ben St. Clair and his partner Vanessa Sjerven, Jennifer Letourneau and her partner Paolo Qualizza, Katherine and Colin Berenhaut, Megan and Michael Lelli, Elisabeth and James Lowrie and Melissa Letourneau. Great-grandmother to Emma, Cole, Owen, Langley, Kylie-Jo, Ryder, Taylor, Lauren, Vivienne, Sophie and Liam. Fern is predeceased by her parents Alcea and Francois Royer and ten brothers and sisters. She is survived by her sister Jeanette Lariviere. Fern was a longtime member of St. Antoine de Padoue Roman Catholic Church, where she was very active in the church choir. A heartfelt thank you to the staff at Meadows of Dorchester for taking such wonderful and loving care of our Mom, you will always be remembered by our family. Friends are invited to call at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. visiting Wednesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Vigil prayers will be celebrated at 8 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 1 pm at St. Antoine de Padoue Church. Cremation will follow, with interment at a later date in Fairview Cemetery.
