Marie Catharine Mcpherson

Passed peacefully away at home where she wanted to be on Dec. 26th, 2012. C. Marie McPherson (nee Kelly). Wife of C. Bruce (2000) and mother of beloved daughter Cathy. Also survived by her cousin Frank Carpenter and niece Diane Semley, sorely missed by Boo who loved and protected her when Cathy wasn’t home. Marie and Cathy would like to thank: Dr. Michael Goodwin and his secretary Leah, Drs Elit and Patel at Juravinski Cancer Centre; her nurses Wendy and Kim from St.Elizabeths’; her PSW Janet Hearn; as well as her neighbours Fran and Roy Johnson and Lynn and Eugene D’Antonio for all their care and support. Finally, thanks also go to Marie’s dear friends Verna Marjoram and Barb Turpel. Cremation has already taken place. A Memorial Mass will be held at St.Patrick’s Church in Niagara Falls on January 12th 2013 at 11:00am.

Marie loved going to Stratford to see “the plays” with Cathy, so in lieu of flowers she requested that donations be made to Notre Dame College School to assist the students in experiencing the same joy of attending a play at the Stratford Shakespeare Festival. Donations can be made through Hetherington and Deans Funeral Chapel, 5176 Victoria Avenue, Niagara Falls.
