Mildred Mann

At the Greater Niagara General Hospital on Sunday May 26, 2013, in her 90th year, with her family by her side. Mildred (Benwell) Mann, beloved wife of the late Donald B. Mann (1985). Loved mother of Donna Cardinal (Late Jim Feb 11 2013), Lurrean Fisher (Norm), Joyce Lamb (Bill) and Ray Mann (Wendy). Also surviving are 14 grandchildren 24 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Millie is predeceased by her parents Sydney and Lila Benwell, her sisters Doris Matson and Irene Jones (2013), her grandson Donnie Fisher and her great grandson Norm Fisher.

Our mom loved life to the fullest and was happiest being with family and friends, partying, curling, golfing, playing cards and all other games. She was a kind wonderful person who was loved by many and she loved spending time with family at her sisters cottage. Mom worked for many years at Pollards, Moeller Manufacturing, Willowdell Golf Club, Penn Stationers and Dr. P. McGarry where she enjoyed the friendship of patients and co workers.

Resting at the funeral chapel of HETHERINGTON AND DEANS, 5176 Victoria Ave. where the family will receive friends Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9. The funeral service will be held at St. David’s United Church on Thursday May 30, 2013, at 11 AM. Cremation and private Interment will take place in Fairview Cemetery. In Memoriam contributions to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the charity of one’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
