On Thursday October 27, beloved Grandma Muriel (Daniels, Fiorentino) Hofsteede passed away, at the age of 96. She left this earth to join her family in heaven, no doubt scolding them for getting there first. Muriel is survived by her two younger sisters (Evelyn and Elizabeth), loving grandchildren and many wonderful great grandchildren. It would be her hope that her grandchildren and great grandchildren live their lives with the feisty spirit she was known for.
Muriel’s grandchildren would like to thank the staff at Garden City Manor for taking excellent, loving care of Muriel. Her family is truly grateful for the hard work and dedication that they provide with compassion and empathy to their patients.
In memoriam contributions to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
In keeping with Muriel’s wishes cremation with a private interment to take place.
