Peacefully at Chateau Gardens in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario on October 26th, 2016 a the age of 88 years. Sadly missed by her children Mack (Gail) Wilson of Renfrew Ontario, Fay Starostic (Jake 2014) of Niagara Falls, Ontario, Eleanor Wilson (John McMahon) of Niagara Falls, Ontario, Heather Wilson of Niagara Falls,Ontario, Ron Wilson (Rose DiCarlo) of Brisbane Australia, Doug Wilson of Niagara Falls, Ontario. Beloved grandma to 15 grandchildren, 11 great- grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.. Also missed by her brother Mel Geldart (Betty Ann) of Perry Sound Ontario and sister-in-law Elsie Geldart of Toronto Ontario.
Myrtle was born in Steeves Mountain, New Brunswick, January 8th, 1928. She began working as a Registered Nurse at the Ottawa General Hospital and moved to Niagara in 1953 where she started a family and began working at the Niagara General Hospital until her retirement.
In keeping with Myrtle's wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday November 26th, 2016 from 2-4pm at the Prince of Wales Hotel, 6 Picton Street, Niagara-on-the-Lake Ontario
