Nancy Caldwell Coleman

COLEMAN; Nancy Caldwell (Poole). Peacefully on Sunday January 4, 2004 at the Greater Niagara General Hospital in her 83rd year. Beloved wife of Donald Coleman of Niagara Falls. Loving mother of Kent Coleman, Mark Coleman both of Sault Ste. Marie, Mary Ann Coleman of Waterford NB and Jennifer Coleman of Cambridge. Dear grandmother of the late Scott (Karen), Adrian (Leslie), Troy, Alastair, Susan, Jessica, Alison, Patrick, Kennedy, Jeffrey (Lori) and Laura. Great-grandmother of Kayla and Tenzin. Sister of Mary Frances Lewis (Late George) of Ottawa. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Coleman enjoyed volunteering her time on behalf of her community. She will be remembered by the Martha Unit at Stamford United Church, the Community Kitchen, Tele-friend and Wee Haven. She also enjoyed sports and was an avid golfer and curler. Formerly she was a member of the Niagara Falls Curling Club and the Queenston Golf Club.

Resting at Hetherington and Deans Funeral Chapel, on Victoria Avenue, where the family will receive friends on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Stamford United Church on Tuesday January 6th, 2004 at 10 o’clock a.m. Cremation will follow the service. Burial will follow at McLaren Cemetery in Wakefield, PQ on a later date. As an expression of sympathy, in memoriam contributions to Stamford United Church, Community Kitchen, Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of one’s choice.
