Pierre 'Peter' Chiasson

 CHIASSON, Pierre 'Peter' - Passed away peacefully at his residence on Tuesday March 3, 2025 at the age of 87. Devoted husband of over 40 years to the late Barbara Chiasson (January 2020). Loving father of the late Kevin MacDonald (2019), Christine Oakes (Robert Neufeld), Tim MacDonald (Cindi Sanders). Cherished grandfather of Elisha Dunsmoor (Adam), Tyler Oakes-Stec, Molli MacDonald (Duncan Mitchell), Ariana Ruscitti, Jessica Ruscitti, Johnathan Sanders. Cherished great-grandfather of Caleb and Sage Dunsmore, Abigail Mitchell, Alex and Luc MacDonald. Dear brother of Anna (Raymond) Cormier, Genette (Jarvis) Cormier, Theresa (the late Alex) Bernatchez. Predeceased by his parents Walter and Yvonne (nee Larcocque) Chiasson, siblings Yvon (Collette) Chiasson, Rita (Walter) Oakes, siblings-in-law John Philips, Colleen Briere, George Philips. He also leaves behind his 'fur baby' Ginger. Peter was a remarkably hard worker who was always happy and kept an extremely clean house. He was very social and a great jokester. He will be forever remembered as a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Cremation has taken place. Friends are invited to join the family at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. Niagara Falls, visiting Monday March 10, 2025 from 6 to 8 pm. A Funeral Service in celebration of his life will be held Tuesday March 11, 2025 at 1 pm at the funeral home.
