My deepest condolences to the Harris family. Richard was always cordial, funny and witty. Had fun singing karaoke with him always cherish the memories such a lovely man.

It's hard to put into words how thankful I am to have known and loved Richard.  He and Gerry welcomed me into the Drummond Inn family and gave me the honor of playing on 3 of their pool teams, something I had never done in my life.  I eventually came to know virtually everyone who frequented the pub and we all watched out for each other.  Rich and Ged had created a real-life Cheers.  I'll always have the most wonderful memories of my times at the Drummond and especially of my friendships with Richard and Gerry.  He was definitely one of the most kind, loving, patient, considerate, polite, funny, and hard-working people I've ever known.  We'll all miss you for now, Richard, but I know we'll all meet around a pool table again someday.  My heart goes out to Gerry, Mark, Stephen, and families.  Just know he'll be sitting on your shoulders rooting for your happiness and watching over you with as much love as ever, forever.

Richard was a true gentleman and a god friend. Always met you with a handshake and a smile . He had such a  driving passion for football and team support for Everton - and he loved the back and forth banter about the game. Sincere condolences to the Harris family. RIP

Richard and I were like brothers same age and my best friend always there to help a man in need he was the greatest Rip brother

We are so sorry to hear of Richard's passing. Richard's kindness, compassion, and endless humour will never be forgotten. Having met him on the job at Crawford Fittings Canada lead to a lasting friendship. My husband John played soccer with him on the German Village Oldtimers. These guys were anything but "old", they could play that game hard. He gave one hundred percent to everything he did. Our sincere condolence to Geri, Mark, Steven and families. Richard will be truly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. R.I.P. Rich!!

Richard was always there for. Ind word and good advice, as long s it took. Me to take it into consideration.
He was always, always there. The Drummond inn was the place away from home for me . And it kept me afloat considering all the lessons and wisdom that I’ve taken with me . I will forever miss Richard. The man was a saint , and a gentleman something the world needs more of… again I’m sorry to everyone . Especially family, but you definitely need to know , he was very very loved and will be very very missed.
His time here on earth was one thing we all hope for in life, is to be treated like a friend.

I first met Richard at work - Crawford Fittings.  In short order,  a group of us formed a beautiful friendship that lasted 44 years.  We had grown our families together, had great times at company parties, and shared many, many wonderful times together in our friend group.  Richard was one of the best men I’ve met in my life! I will miss you Richard.  I know you’ll be partying up in heaven with the rest of the gang❣️Rest in peace my friend.

I met Richard this year and every interaction I had with him was a pleasure and I was very glad to have met him. My heartfelt condolences and deepest sympathies to his family & his friends. 

You were a hard person to beat in 8 ball and a real gentleman who was a pleasure to know.

Our thoughts are with the Harris family during this trying time. Richard was a true gentleman and will truly be missed . We have many fond memories and will treasure them always .

I've always enjoyed Richard's comedy talking to him he was a great man. Richard always had great stories to tell at the  bar we would ask each other trivia questions and if I got it right sometimes he would give me a free beer lol .the last time I talked to him was at Mark's wedding party.  We had a good talk R.I.P

Richard was an awesome man. I worked for him when he bought the Drummond Inn. Richard was the best boss l ever had. He was always kind and very calm. He will be greatly missed. May he be RIP. 💗

I am so sorry to hear of Richard's passing. I worked for Richard and Geri at  Liverpool's Penny Lane back in the mid 1980's. He was always so kind and such a gentleman. I ran into him many times over the years, either at a soccer game, at the Drummond Inn, or most often, at the grocery store. He always stopped for a quick chat.
My condolences to Geri, Steve, and Mark, and all his family.  He will be missed.

I first knew Richard as Kaah an assistant cub leader with the 18th Niagara pack. A man who kept a bunch of boys so entertained there was no time for us to get into much trouble. Lol. Later in life we met up again @ The Drummond Inn where we had many years of laughs and good times. Not only was he the owner/barkeep but also that man to give you an honest opinion, and great fatherly advice. Thank You Richard for being a big part of my life!
