Entered into rest, surrounded by the love of his family, on Thursday, November 27, 2025. Bob, in his 80th year, was the beloved husband and soulmate of Deborah Anne (née Hayward) for over 34 years. He was the proud and much loved father of Michelle and her husband Michael Cooper, Lisa and her husband Rick Doddridge and Amy and her husband Daniel Ethier. Cherished and devoted Poppa of Bryden, Bryce and Tanner Reid. Dear brother of Denise Labelle, Raymond Provost (Joann), Lorraine Lynch (Larry), Dianne Eidt (Jim), and Butch Provost (Betty). He will be missed by many nieces and nephews.
Bob was a dedicated worker who retired after 34 years at Dana Corporation, leaving behind a legacy of commitment and quiet reliability.
He loved his family fiercely and always ensured they were cared for, supported, and surrounded by his steady presence. His quick wit, warm smile, and kindhearted nature will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A gifted woodworker, Bob created countless cherished pieces for family and friends; each one crafted with patience, pride and love. He found his greatest joy in time spent with those he loved, whether gathering at home, travelling together, or exploring new places from the seat of one of his many motorcycles over the years. These adventures, big and small, were among his most treasured memories.
In keeping with Bob’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Patterson Funeral Home, 6062 Main Street, Niagara Falls, on Monday, December 8, 2025, from 2:00–4:00 p.m. and 6:00–8:00 p.m. A private family graveside interment will take place in the summer of 2026. Memorial donations to the Niagara SPCA and Humane Society, Heart & Stroke Foundation, or Diabetes Canada would be sincerely appreciated. Fond memories, special photographs, and messages of condolence may be shared online at www.pattersonfuneralhome.com.
“His journey continues now on a peaceful open road, and the love he left behind will forever ride with us.”
