Roy Cooper

COOPER, Roy - Passed away peacefully with his loving wife of 47 years, Margie at his side, at the Greater Niagara General Hospital on Thursday July 6, 2017 at the age of 77.  Dearly loved father of Gerald (Melanie) Cooper and Charlotte (Jason) Powell.  Cherished grandfather of Daniel, Reece, Laura and Eris.  Dear brother of Gerald Cooper.  Roy had served as a police officer with the Niagara Parks Commission for 33 years, where he was affectionately known as 'Coop the Cop'.  At Roy's request cremation has taken place.  Friends are invited to call at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. visiting Tuesday 10 am to 12 pm.  A Funeral Service in celebration of his life will take place at 12 pm at the funeral home.  Interment will take place at a later date in Fairview Cemetery.  In memory of Roy, donations to The Salvation Army would be appreciated by his family.  Online condolences at www.pattersonfuneralhome.com
