EVANS, Sandra Ellen (nee Southcott) - Passed away peacefully at her residence, with her family by her side, on Saturday July 9, 2022 at the age of 83. Predeceased by her husband Gordon (2021) of 62 years. Dearly loved mother of Dave Evans, Michael (Kim) Evans, Donald Evans, Karen Senese and Christine (Jamie) Barnes. Dear grandmother of Meghan Evans, Daniel Evans Michael Jr Evans, Christopher Evans, Ashley Evans, Ben Rouillier-Evans, Ryan Evans, Sarah Seaward, Laura Seaward, Melissa Seaward, Charlie Cavanagh, Frank (Mary) Senese, Kaitlin Pearce and the late Joshua Evans. She is survived by 8 great-grandchildren. She will be lovingly missed by her sister Irene (Harvey) Mitton and her special furry friend Lily. She is predeceased by her twin brother Melvin Southcoat and sister Pat (Norman) Reid. Mrs. Evans was a quiet but strong women who was always there when anyone was in need. Prior to marrying Gordon, she worked for CKGB in Timmins as a continuity writer, writing ads for the local radio station. After moving to Niagara Falls with her husband, she worked in the lab for 27 years at Chef Boyardee. Her favourite hobbies included knitting, crocheting, baking and spending time with her grandchildren. A private visitation and Funeral Service, were held at PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME , 6062 Main St, Niagara Falls on Tuesday July 12th followed by interment at Fairview Cemetery.
