Sharon Spears

SPEARS, Sharon (nee Dubas) - Passed away peacefully, with her beloved daughter by her side,at the St. Catharines General Hospital on Thursday January 6, 2022 at the age of 73. Sharon will be deeply missed by her loving husband Glenn Austin. Cherished mother of Nichole Jamieson and beloved grandmother of Victoria Jamieson. Sharon is survived by her brothers James (Joanne) Dubas, Richard (Paulette) Dubas, her sisters Doreen Dubas (Pat McGratten), Christine (Rob) Long and sister-in-law Lynn Austin. Dear aunt of David, Diane (Jon), Ryan (Eliza), Leighann, Kris, Don, Kenny (Sorena) and great-aunt of Abby and Cowan. She is predeceased by her parents Michael and Rita Dubas and her niece Alexis. Sharon was a professional server and spent many years working at various restaurants and hotels in Niagara Falls ending her career at the Niagara Fallsview Casino. She was old-school, a very friendly and efficient server which earned her the nickname 'Flo' from her fellow co-workers. She will be forever remembered for her strong work ethic, her wonderful humour, her love of her family and her strength through adversity. Cremation has taken place.
