Passed away peacefully at Grandview Lodge in Dunnville on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at the age of 104. Loving wife of the late G. Lionel T. Ellis (2007). Beloved mother of Valerie and her husband Harding Saari of Dunnville. Sadly missed by her grandchildren of Jessica of St. Catharines, and Andrea (Puru) of Toronto. She is survived by her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her 5 brothers and 3 sisters. A special thank you to all those who have kept Stella in their hearts and minds, sending cards and visiting her the last several years.
In accordance with Stella’s wishes, cremation will take place. Family & friends are invited to attend a memorial service at Christ Church, 4750 Zimmerman Avenue on Friday, April 1, 2016 at 11 AM. Inurnment to follow at Stamford Columbarium. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to Christ Church or to the Greater Niagara General Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
