Passed away surrounded by the love of his family on Saturday, July 8th. He will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 55 years, Janet. Father to Demetrios, “my daughter” Andrea and son, Stavros. Παππού to, “my beautiful” Zoe Ann and “my friend, my best” Athanasios Allan. Loving Brother to George (Genny), his children and grandchildren, Chris (Vasiliki) and their children and grandchild, Leonidas and his family, Soula (Nick Yiokaris) and their children and grandchildren and Deana and her family. Loved by his nieces, Jennifer and Carla, nephew, Adam and their families. Predeceased by his parents, Demetrios and Chrysoula Papavasiliou.
The family would like to sincerely thank; Darren for his assistance and friendship with Tom and the family for over 30 years, Phyllis for her support and compassion and to the staff of the Intensive Care Unit and Unit C at the Greater Niagara General Hospital for the care they provided.
A heartfelt thank you to the numerous friends of Basell’s Restaurant that Tom made throughout his 47 years in business for their condolences and sharing their memories of him with us.
