HUNTER, Valerie Anne 'Val' (nee Bolton) - Passed away suddenly at the Greater Niagara General Hospital on Monday May 20, 2024 at the age of 70. Beloved companion of 20 years to Jocko Green, loving sister of Bill Bolton and Joanne Brown. Cherished aunt of Ryan Brown and godmother of Christopher. Val will be lovingly missed by her best friend Pauline 'Messa' Messer Barrow, Gary (Debbie) Clemensen and her Casino community. Predeceased by her parents Bill and Emily Bolton. Val will be forever remembered by her amazing sense of humour and wit. She lit up every room that she walked into. She was a big 'foodie' and would prefer to take a photo of food rather than people or things. Although she loved to eat, she didn't care much for cooking. She loved watching baseball especially the Blue Jays and True Crime Drama. She enjoyed traveling especially to Connecticut to see Jocko. Cremation has taken place. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday May 30, 2024 at 1 pm at Christ Church. A private family interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery. Online condolences at pattersonfuneralhme.com
