Dad Anderson,
A good father makes all the difference in a child's life. He's a pillar of strength, support and discipline. His work is endless and, oftentimes, thankless. But in the end, it shows in the sound, well-adjusted children he raises. This shows in his sons Kevin & Bruce.

Sal and I had the absolute pleasure a lot of years having Bill and Vanda when they would come see Kevin and Kathy out West. We always looked forward to their visits. So many wonderful memories of Bill & Vanda both living in Niagara Falls and also away. May he rest in peace and be with his Vanda now.

I feel very grateful to have the honest and supportive relationship I had with Papa. I'll miss our cribbage games at happy hour, I'll miss his (sometimes brutally) honest feedback, and I'll especially miss his unfailing sense of humour. Here is one of my favourite photos ever - three generations of Andersons working together to get Papa's ear hair trimmed up. 

I’ll be forever grateful that my Grampa was able to meet my Piper making him a “great” again. I will cherish this memory and many others in the years to come. He will be so missed. Xo

I was so lucky to have Papa visit me in Ottawa a few years ago. This is him in front of Parliament after flirting with our tour guide :)

Born in 1920 at 4 Anderson Drive, Renfrew, Scotland. He came to Canada at age 5. Childhood through the Great Depression must have been tough. He started work at age 13 as a bicycle courier for a bank and then Canadian National Railways. He joined the Royal Canadian Navy to serve during WW II and rejoined CNR on return, married Vanda on January 11, 1946 and moved to Niagara Falls in 1947. He was very involved in the Royal Canadian Legion as a service officer helping many other veterans and their families over the years. He has 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren whom he loved dearly.
